New 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid at Newark Chrysler Jeep Dodge for Newark, DE
With the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, people will be able to get up to 33 miles of all-electric power until switching over to gasoline plus electric. The EPA said that it earned a rating of 10 in its 'Green Vehicle Guide'-- its first award to a minivan for that category- also in history! 2017 is a great year to be a minivan user, and the Pacifica Hybrid is is working hard on outpacing its competitors. It is also the first hybrid minivan ever in history! It has new purchasable features like an automated 'parallel' and 'perpendicular' parking system, automatic emergency braking, a dual-screen rear entertainment system, and a built-in vacuum cleaner to keep the usual mess made from use in check.
Under the Pacifica Hybrid's Hood
For the 2017 Pacifica Hybrid, Chrysler employs a slightly different version of the V6 seen within the gas models, and it gets mixed in with a pack of hybrid motor/generators. A 16-kWh battery pack that is mounted in the floor pushes electric power to the generators. The conglomeration of all of these power pieces ends up sending power to the 'eFlite' electrically variable transmission (EVT), which gets to an estimated 260-hp. With a 240-volt outlet supplying power (a home clothes dryer outlet) and a Mopar charger, Chrysler says recharging a depleted battery could take only around two hours. If Pacifica Hybrid owners want a total recharge without that charger, there is a 120-volt connector standard (a regular home wall-outlet, for example) in the hybrid that charges in about 14 hours (per EPA estimate). Also, battery recharging also happens on the go when coasting or when braking, something that hybrids and full-EVs both share. The EPA tested the hybrid and said it is able to range up to 33 miles on electric power only before it transfers to regular gas/electric hybrid operation. It achieved an 84 MPGe estimate (566 miles of total range).
Design of Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid
The brand-new "Uconnect Theater" rear entertainment system is able to be picked, which works with smartphones and gaming consoles and it has built-in apps/games as well. The Chrysler Pacifica hybrid minivan has an electric parking brake, voice commands, Bluetooth, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a 6-speaker sound system with USB and auxiliary jacks, and a rearview camera. It keeps going with triple-zone climate control, a 5-inch center touchscreen display, Stow 'n Go (folding/collapsible second-row seats), LED daytime running lights, a 60/40-split folding third-row seat, heated mirrors, 17-inch alloy wheels, 7-passenger seating, keyless ignition/entry, and an 8-way power driver seat. The 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen is possible to have installed, which stands out with its sharp graphics, fast processing speeds and an interface that is simple for all. When the 8.4 inch Uconnect is inside, drivers also enjoy automatically the Uconnect Access functionality (see the safety section below). Uconnect Theater can play Blu-ray discs on the two 10-inch touchscreens that are found on the back of the front seats. The total cargo capacity is 140.5 cubic feet, and the battery placement doesn't minimize room, as it has in other hybrids! Behind the third row of seats, the Pacifica has about 32.3 cubic feet of cargo space. Folding the rear seats down attains 87.5 cubic feet back there.

Rear parking sensors monitor the blind-spots and there is a rear cross-traffic alert found in addition.
